What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
